All of our online classes and workshops are 18+ and via ZOOM. Current class and workshop offerings are detailed below. Members receive a discounted rate.
Available Online Classes
Stay consistent with the deliberate practice of your craft!
Here are the details:
- Practice with your self-tape set-up and your role prep techniques by creating a self-tape of you performing the assigned role for class.
- Send your tape via WeTransfer to me at jami@actorplaybook.com before the deadline of Thursday, May 9th at 2:00 pm EST.
In session we will discuss both technical and performance elements of your tape, plus you will get an inside peek into the casting process by seeing what other actors bring to this specific role.
REMINDER: Each of us are currently at a different place on our acting journey and it could be useful to set a specific individualized goal for this class.

Who is this class for?
- Actors who have a writing itch they want to scratch.
- Writers who have an acting bug they want to set free.
- Actors who are also writers.
- Humans who want to consistently create and connect with other artists.
Registrants have the option to attend in-person or via ZOOM.

What can wractors expect?
Class begins with introductions! We’re all a little awkward here so let’s try not to stress too much about public speaking.
You received instructions after you enrolled with your first writing assignment and deadline.
You aced that assignment!
The writing pieces are “cast” prior to class. No you don’t get your own.
We talk about approaching a role, character choices, objectives, substitutions and other role-prep techniques.
You perform your assigned role/s.
We have a group discussion about the writing and the acting.
It’s a magical time of collaboration and creativity. We high-five each other(virtually or in-person) and go home.
