What to expect
From this Intermediate Workshop
Gain valuable insight and experience for your auditioning technique and receive real-time feedback and tips directly from Carolyn in this multi-part interactive workshop.
This first workshop is designed for adult actors and teen actors 16+ who are intermediate level actors.
DETAILS:
1. Actors will receive detailed instructions and a link to a sides library approx. 1 week prior to class. Your first assignment(OPTIONAL) will be to create a self-tape and send it in per the instructions before the noted deadline.
2. Actors will select and prep an additional scene to perform live at the workshop with feedback from Carolyn.
3. Self-tapes will be viewed as a group at the start of the workshop. Discussion and feedback from Carolyn will follow.
4. Actors will perform their second scene live at the workshop and receive adjustments and feedback directly from Carolyn.
5. A discussion of the work and a time permitting live Q & A will close the workshop.

This workshop is designed for actors 18+ who are intermediate to advanced level actors.
DETAILS:
1. Actors will receive detailed instructions and a link to a sides library approx. 1 week prior to class. Your first assignment(OPTIONAL) will be to create a self-tape and send it in per the instructions before the noted deadline.
2. Actors will select and prep an additional scene to perform live at the workshop with feedback from Carolyn.

4. Actors will perform their second scene live at the workshop and receive adjustments and feedback directly from Carolyn.
5. (TIME PERMITTING) Cinematic Acting Demonstration: Selected volunteers will be given a short scene and demonstrate rehearsal and blocking in-class. Carolyn will give guidelines throughout.
6. A discussion of the work and a time permitting live Q & A will close the workshop.

About Your Instructor

Carolyn is the founder of CP Casting, and consults on all projects as she has the past 30 years. She is a member of Screen Actors Guild & The Casting Society of America. Carolyn has won numerous casting awards for feature films, including The Departed, Gone, Baby, Gone, Shutter Island, Mystic River, Good Will Hunting, The Crucible, and Mystic Pizza.
