Our job as actors is to serve the story being told.
Which is ideal when you have the full script, lots of time to prepare and work the scenes with fellow actors and the director. The reality of working in film and television is that actors are auditioning without being able to read the full script and have only the information given in their sides.
So, how do we make strong, bold choices and bring ourselves to the work with the limited information we have?
In this 60 minute talkback, we will look at sides from day player roles, watch how those sides translated to the screen in the final product and discuss how each role is contributing to moving the larger story forward.
By understanding story we can become more empowered actors.
