Audition Analysis & The Casting Process with Lisa Kitay Shipper

At this monthly class you will learn how to effectively approach audition sides while gaining insight into the entire casting process. Discussion will include identifying beats, traps, tone and nuances in the copy, followed by industry details regarding the casting process of this specific role. If time allows, actors may be invited to do a read through of the assigned class sides or be asked to volunteer as a reader.

Instructor Bio:

Currently working with Suzanne Ryan Casting, Lisa was previously with Bowling/Miscia Casting and has worked on a variety of TV series and pilots for CBS, FOX, ABC, CW and NBC.

Her recent TV credits include: CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans, NBC’s BLINDSPOT, DECEPTION on ABC, and GOD FRIENDED ME on CBS.

Lisa’s recent film credits include: the Paramount plus feature film JERRY AND MARGE GO LARGE starring Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening.
