Auditioning for Procedurals with Coach, Lorrie Odom
Procedurals are tv shows where a problem is introduced, investigated and solved in the course of an episode. These shows tend to be hour-long dramas, and are often police or crime related. Well-known procedurals are Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, NCIS and Chicago PD.
Procedurals provide lots of job opportunities for actors (therefore it is a very good auditioning style to be familiar with!) Use LAW & ORDER: SVU for example, each week a new crime is being solved, hence, the show hires tons of co-stars and guest stars for every episode they shoot!
This class will focus on how to prepare and make solid choices for procedural auditions.
