This is a recorded self-tape feedback class with instructor, Lorrie Odom.

Lorrie ran the self-tape program at Actor’s Connection in NYC for over 10 years and brings years of experience from putting actors on tape and seeing which actors booked.

To participate in this class:

Prep one of the following roles for your tape:
Log in for sides (This class is included with an active studio membership)
Send your self-tape via WeTransfer or Vimeo 24 hours prior to the start of class to jami@actorplaybook.com.

NOTE: All tapes must be received within 24 hours BEFORE the start of class in order to be included.

Your tape will be played in class and Lorrie will provide detailed feedback for you on both technical and performative aspects of your tape. Lorrie will also discuss how to create a competitive, elevated tape and she will also provide a Q & A for all of your self-tape questions.

Instructor Bio:

Lorrie Odom is a Howard University graduate and has been an actress in NYC for the past 20 years. She’s a recurring on HULU’s original series SHUT EYE, Season 2 opposite star Isabella Rossellini and can currently be seen on NETFLIX in the film KINGS opposite Oscar Winner Halle Berry.

Lorrie’s film credits include: ISN’T IT ROMANTIC opposite Rebel Wilson, BUFFALOED opposite Zoey Deutch, and BODY CAM opposite Mary J. Blige.

Previous TV credits Include: FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE opposite Keegan-Michael Key, SCANDAL, QUEEN SUGAR, GOTHAM, MR.ROBOT, PERSON OF INTEREST, THE BLACKLIST, GIRLS, VEEP, LAW & ORDER: SVU, and HOMELAND.
